Rain-X Rain Repellent is a treatment for exterior vehicle glass that creates an invisible water-repellent barrier. It causes rain, sleet and snow to bead on the treated surface, helping the vehicle’s airflow clear water from the glass while driving.

Applied to a clean, dry windscreen, it helps improve visibility in wet weather and makes it easier to see the road ahead during poor driving conditions.

This is a dedicated glass treatment, not a glass cleaner. The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and dried before application.

Application Guide:

1. Clean the glass thoroughly and make sure it is completely dry.
2. Apply in temperatures above 4°C.
3. Pour a small amount of product onto a folded, dry, lint-free or microfibre cloth.
4. Apply to the exterior glass using firm, overlapping circular movements.
5. Allow the product to dry. A light white haze may appear.
6. Apply a second coat to help achieve complete and even coverage.
7. Remove the remaining haze with a clean, dry cloth. Alternatively, lightly wet the surface and wipe it with a paper towel.

Important Usage Notes:

• Use only on clean, dry exterior vehicle glass.
• Do not apply when the temperature is 4°C or below.
• Do not use on plastic windscreens, plastic surfaces, Perspex, fibreglass, solar panels or etched or frosted glass.
• Use a product specifically intended for plastics when treating plastic motorcycle, ATV or boat windscreens.
• Follow the instructions and safety information supplied with the product.
