Autobrite Direct Fabri-Shield is a sprayable water-repellent coating designed to protect fabric surfaces from moisture. It is especially suited to automotive fabrics used in convertible and cabriolet roof construction, helping add protection after the fabric has been cleaned and fully dried.

The active ingredients are designed to penetrate deep into the fibres while retaining the original texture and breathability of the material. This allows Fabri-Shield to repel liquids while still allowing air to pass through the fabric.

Fabri-Shield is solvent-based, giving faster drying times and improved durability compared with equivalent water-based products. It does not contain fluorocarbons and is intended as a fabric protection product, not a cleaner. For best results, clean the fabric first with a dedicated soft top cleaner such as Fabri-Clean before applying protection.

Application Guide:

• Only apply when the fabric can be kept dry for approximately 24 hours.
• Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from heavy detergents before application.
• For best results, clean the fabric first with a dedicated soft top cleaner.
• Mask nearby body panels and glass to help protect against overspray.
• Apply generously to the fabric until saturation is achieved.
• Allow the product to penetrate for approximately 2-3 minutes.
• Work any remaining product into the fabric using a clean dry sponge or soft bristled brush.
• Allow to dry for approximately 1 hour before applying additional coats if required.
• Allow to dry for approximately 24 hours before exposing to heavy moisture such as rain or washing.

Important Usage Notes:

• This is a fabric protection product, not a fabric cleaner.
• Do not confuse Fabri-Shield with Fabri-Clean, which is the soft top cleaner.
• Apply only to clean, dry fabric for best results.
• Protect nearby paintwork and glass from overspray during application.
• Always test on an inconspicuous area first if using on older, delicate, or unknown fabric.
• Always follow the product label before use.
