Autobrite Direct Just The Tonic Tar & Glue Remover is a fast-acting, solvent-based cleaner designed to remove stubborn tar, glue and adhesive residues from vehicle surfaces. It is intended for use as part of the exterior decontamination process, helping dissolve bonded contamination before the contact wash stage.

The formula works quickly on tar spots, glue residue, asphalt and heavy tar deposits, helping reduce the need for heavy scrubbing or scraping. This makes it useful after a safe pre-wash or snow foam stage, where remaining bonded contamination needs to be removed from the vehicle exterior.

Just The Tonic can be used on a wide range of suitable hard surfaces, including modern paint finishes, clear-coated alloy wheels, steel wheels, powder-coated alloy wheels, glass, chrome brightwork and bare metal. It is also listed as suitable for painted solvent-resistant plastics, trims and rubber, but care should always be taken as this is a solvent-based product.
