Description

Polygard Arctic Screenwash is a concentrated windscreen cleaning fluid suitable for use throughout the year. It helps remove road grime, traffic film, grease and insect deposits to maintain a clearer windscreen.

During winter, the concentration can be adjusted to provide the level of frost protection required. When used undiluted, it helps de-ice the windscreen and prevent refreezing at temperatures down to approximately -20°C.

For milder weather and summer driving, it can be diluted with clean water while continuing to provide effective windscreen cleaning.

This is a concentrated screenwash and must be mixed according to the weather conditions, except where full winter protection is required.

Application Guide:

• Protection to -20°C: Use undiluted.
• Protection to -10°C: Mix one part screenwash with one part clean water.
• Protection to -5°C: Mix one part screenwash with five parts clean water.
• Summer use: Mix between one part screenwash and nine to fifteen parts clean water, depending on the level of cleaning required.

Add the required mixture to the vehicle’s windscreen washer reservoir. Use clean water when diluting and select a concentration appropriate for the expected lowest temperature.

Important Usage Notes:

• Contains methanol and is classified as a flammable and harmful chemical product.
• Keep away from heat, sparks, flames and other ignition sources.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid swallowing, breathing mist or vapour, and contact with skin.
• Wear suitable protective gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate.
• Use in a well-ventilated area and follow all instructions and hazard information shown on the container.
• Do not use a weaker dilution than required for the expected weather conditions.
